You don’t change your life by waiting to feel ready. You change it by deciding to try. even when it’s uncomfortable or scary. This is for anyone done playing small, second-guessing, or holding back.
You don’t need confidence or discipline to start. You just need the willingness to step forward. The rest gets built along the way.

I used to believe that being healthy meant restriction and endless hours of cardio until I learned about balance. about how to stay healthy and nourish my body while still enjoying my life. NOW, let me tell you how I got into the gym. I’ve always been into sports for as long as I can remember. I danced for five years and did fencing for six more years. I always said I was never going to be a “gym girl” because honestly, I HATED the entire idea of being in a room full of weights and machines and having no clue what to do. In 2017, I got injured during a fencing competition (which ended up being my last one). That was back when I lived in Venezuela, by the way I wasn’t born here. My family and I moved to the United States 8 years ago because of the dictatorship happening back home. So yeah, we had to start from zero and leave everything behind. When I got to the U.S., I was still injured and couldn’t do any physical activity for months. Once I started high school here, I knew I needed to find a sport to stay active, so I signed up for soccer. I played my entire senior year( I totally sucked, lmao) but hey, at least I was getting some cardio in, and honestly, it was such a fun time. Made tons of memories and friends.
SIDE NOTE; thanks to soccer I met my husband tehe🤭At the end of my senior year, my friends and I started going to the gym, kind of as a joke. We didn’t take it serious, and we were NOT consistent, and I ate whatever I wanted. I didn’t know a single thing about fitness, food, or calories. Then, out of nowhere, my love for the gym just appeared. Don’t even remember exactly how or when, it just happened. Suddenly, all I could think about was working out and improving myself.
Years went by… I got my associate’s degree in Health Sciences and then became a Certified Personal Trainer. I’ve always loved social media, but it wasn’t until the end of 2024 that I started to see growth and realized how much. I wanted to inspire and help people. I got consistent, started doing what I truly love, and honestly… I freaking love this. I am obsessed with helping people become the best version of themselves and guiding them in every way I can. So I created this guide because I remember exactly what it felt like to not know where to start. I wanted something simple, effective, and realistic. Something that fits in real life and a tool you can use forever. This guide is here to help you feel confident in the gym, build strength, and fall in love with the process.
REMEMBER: progress isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, learning, and building habits that last. This guide will help you move your body, nourish it with intention, and feel your absolute best while doing it. You’ve got this, and I am so proud of you for starting✨
